Providing empowerment through access.
For over 30 years, MORE has been advancing the common good by helping new Americans of all races and cultures become independent, full participants in our economy and community. By removing barriers, whether those barriers are cultural, financial, language/communication, systemic, educational, etc., our objective has always been to ensure that MORE’s participants have a better life with greater stability. We hope you will join us in this mission.
“While refugees here five years or less have a median household income of roughly $22,000 that figure more than triples in the following decades, growing far faster than other foreign-born groups. By the time a refugee has been in the country at least 25 years, their median household income reaches $67,000—a full $14,000 more than the median income of U.S. households overall….Initial, short-term assistance to refugees is a smart investment.” From Struggle to Resilience: The Economic Impact of Refugees in America – New American Economy - 2015
Last year, MORE supported more than 2,700 of our newest neighbors with the basic goods, services and education needed to increase their capacity to improve their lives and the lives of their families. To provide these goods and services MORE relies on the donations from people like you. Your donation to MORE makes a difference!
